Exodus 16:15-18 (NLT)
The Israelites were puzzled when they saw it. “What is it?” they asked each other. They had no idea what it was. And Moses told them, “It is the food the LORD has given you to eat. These are the LORD’s instructions: Each household should gather as much as it needs. Pick up two quarts for each person in your tent.” So the people of Israel did as they were told. Some gathered a lot, some only a little. But when they measured it out, everyone had just enough. Those who gathered a lot had nothing left over, and those who gathered only a little had enough. Each family had just what it needed.
If we don’t “Enough,” we’ll never have it.
Faith is that what God wants for me is enough.
Exodus 16:16 (NLT)
”These are the LORD’s instructions: Each household should gather as much as it needs. Pick up two quarts for each person in your tent.”
Faith is trusting that God will supply what you need.
God = Never Have Enough, but God = More than Enough
What in your life competes for God-Status?
Trusting God in uncharted ways requires that we stop chasing after the treasures of this world.
Exodus 35:4-9 (NLT)
Then Moses said to the whole community of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded: Take a sacred offering for the LORD. Let those with generous hearts present the following gifts to the LORD: gold, silver, and bronze; blue, purple, and scarlet thread; fine linen and goat hair for cloth; tanned ram skins and fine goatskin leather; acacia wood; olive oil for the lamps; spices for the anointing oil and the fragrant incense; onyx stones, and other gemstones to be set in the ephod and the priest’s chestpiece.
Generosity isn’t what God wants us, it’s what he wants us.
How we handle our money is a test of or we .
Following God with uncharted faith an internal impact.
