CHRISTMAS PLAYLIST: “O Come All Ye Faithful”

Luke 2:8-17 (NIV)
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

These poor, outcast shepherds received what is arguably the most important message ever delivered to mankind. And it was a three part message
- A savior has been born
- He is the Messiah
- He is for everyone

We have a message to share that is good news for everyone

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

Your greatest qualification for sharing the good news is with Jesus.

God and sinners reconciled!
Hail the heaven born Prince of Peace
Hail the son of righteousness
Light and life to all he brings
risen with healing in this wings!
He was born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of Earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! Hark! The angels sing – glory to the newborn King!
